I’m originally from Sweden & I think that’s why I love that park so much, it reminds me of home

Thanks! I have a moon on the other wrist. And the zucchini/marrow is being grated for zucchini bread and filler in soups & pasta sauces

My zucchini’s have gone from tasty vegetables to deadly weapons. I feel like I should need a license to carry this by lovelyb1ch66 in gardening

Yeah when they get that big I either stuff them or make zucchini lasagna. Lots of garlic, fresh basil, tomatoes and peppers and some good cheeses

The summer of the year I turned 12 my parents were building a house while we lived in a rented one a couple of miles away. To save money they did a lot of the work themselves, leaving me to babysit my two younger brothers, then 7 and 4. Mon-Fri, I had to cook them lunch and also dinner for the whole family. And there was no kid shows on TV like there is now, I was expected to keep them entertained and out of trouble and keep the house cleaned up (not like any actual house cleaning but put toys and clothes away, do the dishes and keep the place tidy)

I know of several smaller cat rescues in the Ottawa/Kingston area that have been forced to close because they’re at or above capacity. Also many of the cats, especially the younger ones, are showing up in horrific conditions; open sores from mites and mange, blind from severe eye infections, malnourished, weak and covered in ticks. The people who run these independent rescues do it for the love of these animals and they’re finding it incredibly difficult emotionally.
