[close] Welcome to the Annual Nonfiction Reading Challenge! Participants must introduce themselves by April 1 to qualify for the prize drawing. There are 12 categories for the challenge. For each category, read a nonfiction book and share your thoughts in the Discussion Thread for that category. The number of categories you complete will determine the number of entries you receive for the prize drawing. Dates: Challenge will run from 12:01 am on January 1, 2022 - 11:59 pm on December 31, 2022 (use your local time). Books begun before the start date & time DO NOT qualify. Books must be completely read by the end date/time to qualify. A couple of notes: -- Participants must introduce themselves in the Introductions thread by April 1, 2022 to qualify for the prize drawing. -- All books must be nonfiction! -- Children's books are not allowed. -- You may choose any combination of categories to complete. -- Categories can be completed in any order. -- Binge-read or space out your reads - as long as the read dates fall between the challenge dates, the choice is yours. -- Each category may be used only once (to be considered for prize entry). -- Books may be used for one category only. -- Books may not be rereads. Prize Info: One lucky reader will win $20 USD, given via Paypal. After January 2, 2023, I will randomly select winners from all qualified entries.
