Some more info on Yedintsvo (Unity), the pro-Soviet party in Lithuania prior to the Lithuanian SSR dissolution, that tried to preserve the Lithuanian SSR. Yedintsvo was supported mostly by Lithuanian Poles, who voted to keep Lithuania in the USSR. Lithuanian Poles are still largely pro-USSR. (old.reddit.com)

Czeslaw Znamierowski, Polish-Lithuanian Soviet artist. He helped mobilize Soviet forces in the Soviet revolutions in Russia and Latvia, and WWII.
