My current bike is a trek 2.1 aluminum from 2013. Haven't done any riding the past few years as I've been running instead. Saw the domane in a local shop and now can't stop thinking about it. My current bike is more than adequate but nothing exciting.
Anyone else get urges/cravings for a new ride even if there is no pressing need?
Could somebody explain to me why the Emonda 7 costs $1,000 more than the 6 even though the 6 comes with a power meter and the 7 does not? Is the jump in quality from SRAM eTap to Shimano di2 really so dramatic that it's worth $1,000 and the loss of a power meter? Is there something else I'm missing other than a slightly higher quality wheel set (Bontrager elite vs. pro)?
