Read books (physical copies or digital), listen to podcasts, try learning new languages. I don't know what is the view of this sub on internet in general but I by no means compare reading Britannica and Wikipedia with Instagram and TikTok. I sometimes when have my phone at hand and have time to spare, write random stuff on Google (i.e. why ancient people did that, how the Roman empire in the first century, which famous scientist medieval ages), and go through the images and read the articles the images are taken from. What I view to be a waste of time is Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok and other big sites. However I still use Reddit and YouTube because there are invaluable stuff on these two sites that I can't find anywhere else on the internet (i.e. /r/explainlikeimfive, /r/askscience, Kurzgrsagt and other educational channels on YouTube). However, other products listed gives me nothing of value or irreplaceable.

No problem. First reason because having the option and NOT enabling it by default would not change anything, and second reason because there are some accounts and subreddits that have the same name and this would be a way to distinguish between them, and lastly because it gives me Reddit vibes.
