    Four years since this article was written and GP practice is now in crisis. GP's have been saying this for years and not being listened to. This crisis has serious implications for communities in all areas of Ireland. WHY is government not listening? Ireland

    I was one of four GPs interviewed in this article. Dr.’s Don & Una Punch left Cork & are now in Canada. Dr. Janes has been on sick leave since last Autumn. I am still at work, in my 64th year. We told this was happening

    These are the 'real' issues that MUST be addressed immediately. We have today in Ireland. Now we must ensure that the services are there for women to access in their communities and this starts with being able to access their GP

    Patients are being turned away in Cork due to a lack of doctors

    I was just thinking this evening of my mother, a devout Catholic who was not allowed to attend my baptism because she had not been 'churched" and was still "unclean" after giving birth. Time to end this culture of shaming women.

    May 25th 2018 the youth of Ireland marched to the polls like never before. June 23rd 2016 older citizens in the UK voted in large numbers. One country marched forward another marched backwards. I know which country I want to live in.
