    The passing of the is demoralising for all those who have campaigned hard against it. It will only harm those seeking safety & protection in the UK, including children. We stand with & will continue to fight for the rights of refugees.

    The day we’ve been dreading has arrived. Last night, despite overwhelming opposition, the UK Gov forced its Nationality and Borders Bill through Parliament. It’s a devastating blow for refugee rights but the fight is far from over:

    Too often low-income working families realise they’re entitled to free school meals too late. We’re calling on & LAs to ensure that school meal debt accrued by individual families due to late registration must be written off. No child should go hungry
