I can't understand how anyone can like some of the modern country I hear when I'm around people that listen to country. Example: the song I just heard was simply a sort of hip hop rip off with the singer having a southern draw singing about having a truck with big tires. I get that it's trendy to certain people but it's just as dumb as mumble rap. There is some classic country and a few modern artists that actually write good music but honestly, what is the appeal of garbage like this. It's as bad as Takashi 6×9 IMO.
