Kathryn's memory was so prodigious, she'd just tell tales, not reading from her books, 32 of them if my count is right, beginning with 1964's "Treasured Alabama Recipes," although most of us came to know her first as co-author of "13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey.".
