Lifted F-150, guess the state. by Tron_1KRR in Justrolledintotheshop

Hey now. We don't use actual holsters. If it was Iowa it would be wedged in a Busch Light box.

Man, Delta really sending it with these cabin configuration overhauls! by nutbagger18 in delta

They'd manage to fit 2 in there in a single seat config. What a flex that would be, rocking a lie flat for a 1 hour flight.

That's funny! I had a flight that connected to a small municipal and the connection was a Cessna 182. It was, in fact, a C182.

Ha!

I'd bring a roll aboard but someone will store their Nokia 3360 in the overhead and probably fill it to capacity.

Really? I'm all for volunteering but not when I'm fully aware people are taking advantage of it.

Also, trying really hard to look past the username when reading that from one of these good folks.

Ah, you're right. I was doing that for additional MQD. Sorry, was thinking the business class/FC upgrades for the bonus.

Card spend is easiest if you can justify the annual fee and using it for regular day-to-day purchases. After that, pay to upgrade to at least C+ and you'll get the MQM bump on each flight. The Reserve card has been fantastic for work and occasional personal travel.

I don't get many MQS's since all mine are two hop flights (I'm Midwest), so I just paid the extra $100-200 for each round-trip since the rest was paid. I popped Platinum in June. I'm also insanely fortunate to have a small airport that generally nets the fun bonus of getting FC almost every commute to a hub from my home airport.

(edit: the "justify annual fee" was in reference to the additional benefits, not just the companion ticket. I calculated cost of checked bag fee and meals at every layover and figured the number of trips having the SkyClub access would be rendered a wash. Plenty of other benefits with it, but that was one I kept in mind.)

I think it opened early this year in a partial format but finished in June.

Such an outstanding upgrade from the previous dinky one they had before. I love the BNA club!

Funny, I didn't see this reply when I posted. We're of the same mind!

We haven't had to cut (yet) but we called mutual aid to get FD folks over to do some heavy duty low angle winching for a 500# guy in the basement. Ambulance about didn't make it out of the yard from the wet season we were having.

Great. So when Mr. Tons o' Fun vagles out and gets wedged between the toilet and the wall, there's even more stuff in the way to get them out lol

Honestly, though, that's an incredibly well engineered, niche solution that not a lot of people consider.

I guess they knew some of the controllers and the architecture ahead of time, but to your point, having it dynamic enough to adapt and know which route was nothing short of amazing.

It was wild how that worked. Never underestimate the power of human curiosity.

Assuming no one hosed you from overhead storage and you can just take you your seat what you need, I'd stay.

2024 Medallion Status by crowd79 in delta

[–]nutbagger18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. If my travel keeps up next year, I'll hit that status again. Other than the upgrades when I travel (I'm fortunate to use mainly corrections so I have better luck), I could care less. I'd rather be home. But if I'm going to travel, you better believe I'm going to try and get status to make it a little better.

And here I was concerned when my usual C37 SC (I always connect through ATL for regional) didn't have my favorite spot by the front desk. That's insane. ATL is an absolute zoo anymore.

Is that a late 90's/early 00's SC/SL2? I really wish they'd make that light more visible...
