remember people have to be employed to watch those screens. budget cuts means there are no people looking at the screens, and only when a crime is suspected do police go back over the video.

The money lost due to piracy was but a drop in the ocean compared to the money lost in the credit crisis. Big music labels were owned by the corporations that lost alot of money in the credit crash.

im not sure what effect napster had on the industry as a whole, but the credit crash definitely had more of an impact on it then napster for sure
