If the mediums are firing in finally, why is ver 2.3s behind already. And if they’re not how has sainz dropped the gap from 0.8s to 2.2s

At this point watching this person with weird glasses next to toto laugh at something on her phone counts as entertainment. Anyone know if she and the guy next to her are celebrities?

As a relatively new f1 fan looks like i was quite naive to get hyped reading some of the posts on here yesterday. Especially ones that talked about how ham, alo, and vett would come out on top in wet conditions. Didnt know i’d be dozing off watching rain drops

Manjrekar: Virat wanting to be on the front foot no matter what is not helping his cause. Mental toughness takes you far sure, but technical issues cannot be ignored completely. Crunch game.. front foot to a short of length bouncing ball cost him his wicket again. by vpsj in Cricket

This must be the first time in years that i’m seeing a thread in favor of manjrekar and its quite refreshing. Its sad how indian fans love to jump on bandwagons and hate on commentators as if they’re nobodies.

Anchor innings: Captain KL Rahul's brilliant 79(58) by expressionofdeath in Cricket

You cant expect KLs, Kohlis and Williamsons to accelerate like pure T20 batsmen. They can only play to their strengths and everyone is aware that slogging isn’t something that comes naturally to them. The big hitters in LSGs failed to play to their strength while RCBs did exactly that (and a lot more considering Kohli got out early)

People who are directing all the blame at KL simply don’t understand these different roles batsmen have within their team.

Yeah i dont think its as black and white as this sub is making it out to be. Going by today’s performance, KLs approach is eerily similar to Kohli’s. And i dont think Kohli would’ve got as much hate for scoring the same number of runs.

In fact, when Kohli was batting i commented on the thread about how he’s sometimes too comfortable rotating the strike and cornering his partner into increasing the run rate. We got lucky that Patidar was able to break away today and Kohli decided to go for it too but that hasn’t always been the case.

Maybe with technically disciplined ODI/Test batsmen like KL & Kohli, this is the only way to go about it. Barring a few lucky days, a lot of their success depends on how well their partners soak in the pressure and take responsibility of the slogging while they take their time to build an innings leading up to the slog overs.

Unfortunately for KL, there was no Patidar to take responsibility and maybe its asking for too much to expect batsmen of their calibre to succeed in slogfests.
