I've heard that originally the coca plant was used as an appetite suppressant alongside being a stimulant.

Then, of course, people figured out how to make cocaine.

Hoping I might be able to get help on finding a battery with these specifications by rooroosterchips in ebikes

I have in-laws visiting me in the US, who live in Latin America. One of them wants to take a replacement of this lithium ion battery back to their home country with them. I have absolutely 0 knowledge of ebikes. Where could I go online to buy a replacement battery?

Thank you so so much for any help!

This is 100% it. If you go to a normal shelter that euthanizes (aka the county pound) they'll give you an animal without asking or verifying much.

I just wish they'd somehow figured out to do it before they took out my epidural. They gave me some fentanyl at my request but I swear it did nothing

A membrane sweep is different! I didn't have one of those, but I've heard that they're super painful too :(

Yup. I had big ol clots that weren't disconnecting so I was just gushing blood. As much as it sucked, the alternative of bleeding out would've been worse.

It was only because I was hemorrhaging from my uterus. It isn't supposed to happen!

It was fucking awful though

I had to have a manual sweep after I gave birth and it was essentially this. The OB had to stick his hand into my uterus to scrape out blood clots.

My cervix was already dilated and it was still the most painful thing that I've ever experienced. The idea that someone would WANT a hand inside their uterus is insane

But you'll often sound pretentious using the right one. Sometimes I'll use the wrong one in text conversations just to not sound like I'm a pedant.

I had that happen with blood work (also labcorp) and so I had to pay $140 for a CBC panel taken while I was literally sitting in the Dr's room. Like I didn't even go to a lab. I've never had to pay for another CBC before or sense luckily.

I live in the south and I have had older men come up and try to take the door from me when I'm holding it for them!

It doesn't offend me but it does crack me up

Unfortunately a lot of places in the US still don't offer paid maternity OR paternity leave.

But looking at other countries it's shocking how many "progressive countries mandate maternity leave and not general parental leave.

Not being able to rotate a pdf. I once accidentally sent a professor my homework upside-down in college.

She took forever to grade my homework and when I followed up she said she didn't know how she was supposed to grade it without standing on her head.

Have you never..... rotated.... anything on a computer? Or considered just printing it out?

Whenever I got acrylic nails my WPM would go down, but I was still faster than coworkers. That's when I realized a lot of people still hunt and peck as full ass adults.
