On the April 20, 2018 episode of The Daily Shoah, co-hosts Mike Peinovich, Jesse Dunstan, and Alex McNabb discussed a recent article by the SPLC about how people eventually arrive at adopting an alt-right ideology.

The article, “McInnes, Molyneux, and 4chan: Investigating pathways to the alt-right,” examined two threads from The Right Stuff’s 504um in which users described what online personalities led them to more extreme beliefs. The answers ranged from conspiracy theorists to men’s rights activists to “alt-lite” activists.

As usual the Daily Shoah crew dismissed attempts to “build a psychological profile” of the typical alt-righter — though some of this might stem from their association of psychology with Judaism.

But Mike Peinovich offered some unsolicited advice to the SPLC for the future:

[I]f you want people to stop becoming alt-right, what you need to do is pack up your organization, and stop what you’re doing. You are creating people on the alt-right. You need to disband the SPLC and leave people the fuck alone. And actually let people be — have free speech, and say what they want, and say what they want on social media, and do what they want. You guys trying to put the pressure on to stamp this out is creating it. And also stop forcing people to go — basically give us what we want. Give us what we want. Move to Israel. Leave us alone. Let people have de facto segregation again, where they can have white communities and white businesses and white schools. And go away and stop attacking white people, stop imposing diversity training…

In other words, in order to make white supremacists shut up and go away, everyone else must voluntarily return to the days of segregated lunch counters and sundown towns. The days before Brown v. Board of Education, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

That’s quite the list of demands from people in no position to bargain. Although the alt-right isn’t officially dead, it’s certainly a shadow of its former self. Between the warring factions, the doxing of prominent members, the retirement of some of its most influential leaders, and the constant threat of no-platforming, the alt-right movement has its work cut out for it.

But McNabb and Dunstan naturally agreed with Peinovich that this is the only way to stop a “white nationalist revolution.”

“End the digital lynch mob,” Dunstan said. “That’s really the only thing that keeps people from expressing these beliefs and what we know is the truth about race realism and the JQ is as soon as the find out about it they’re like, ‘Oh shit!’ and they wish they didn’t learn it because the only way you prevent people from coming out with it is the threat of having their identities known, losing their jobs, things like that, being ostracized.”

Otherwise, he predicted, the alt-right will continue to win over converts. “That’s already happening,” Peinovich claimed. Alex McNabb then chimed in to say this was true “for the same reasons that bombing the Middle East creates more al-Qaeda.”
