I understand the decentralization aspect but the rest is absolute gibberish. Other than that there seems to be no other real benefit. The block chain is usefull only when there are a handful of transactions in it, but since it is a simple log file, it is bound to expand it makes it harder and harder to store and resolve transactions, requiring more and more computing power and thus resourses. The privacy argument is absolutely irrelevant for a game imo, the speed as I just discussed, is only accurate at the start and then its simply wrong, reduced costs is the same, at the start thats true and later it is not.
So it seems this tech is only useful if noone is using it, because if people use it, then it turns to shit.
