This blew up more than I thought.
I want to add: Therapy can help you identify ways to solve your environmental problems, set boundaries with toxic people ect but if your life is tough it is ok to feel it, toxic positivity is harmful and sometimes no matter how hard you pull on your bootstraps they don’t move.

My wife went to get her oil changed at the full service car wash we go to and the mechanic came to her with a filter that looked horrible. Her Tahoe is only a 1 year old and she knows how I am all about taking care of the vehicles. She told him to change it.
When I get home from work she was telling me how she got the oil changed at almost exactly the 5000 mile mark. Good Job babe I was going to do that Saturday for you. Then she says They replaced the air filter too because it looked like hell. Babe I replaced your air filter and mine in late August.
No way it was her filter they were showing her. I've seen them do this to other people before and really never paid much attention because I figured maybe they did need a new filter. But I replaced her's less than a month ago and I have only had to fill her vehicle up twice since then so less than a 1000 miles.
So just go to walmart or an autoparts store and it's a very easy procedure. Plus you will save money.
Never bother your friends again to call your phone when it is lost, just have the computer do it for you.
Apple and Alexa both have ways of doing this as well, but I don't use them.
PS: Please let me know if this is actually common knowledge, I honestly wouldn't know.

Edit - For anyone triggered by this, feel free to mentally rephrase it as: whatever it is your children want to do when they’re young, do it with them before they’re too old to want to do it anymore. You’ll never get those years back.

Edit 2 - For people asking "Who's triggered by this and why?"
Those who believe, since I referenced the daughters I'm raising, that I am insinuating son's can't do these things, or more generally that sons don't need love and attention from their parents.
Those who infer that I'm saying there is a hard cut-off date when these activities can no longer occur.
Then there's the one, I only recall seeing 1 this aggressive, who is not comfortable enough with his own masculinity to engage in these "feminine activities" since it will make him appear to be an "emasculated twink".
