Within 1.5 months, @DCPCR traced nearly 2500 children who lost one parent, & 70 who lost both. We worked with Education Department to ensure Govt pays for school fee of nearly 750 children, 800 families were provided ration, 300 families supported for financial assistance.

Building upon the success of the first issue, watch out for the Children First Journal’s Second Issue set to be launched in July 2022 on the theme “Second Year of Covid-19 Pandemic: Disrupted Childhoods, Disrupted Education”.

Published themes ranged from challenges of online education, social-emotional growth struggles to learning losses because of school closures & POCSO victims' plight. Case studies/researches ranged from Delhi & Andhra govt school to struggles of rural tribals of Rajasthan & Assam

Nearly 26 pieces out of 100 received were published in the first issue. Authors came from reputed institutions such as IITs, IIMs, TISS, Delhi University, Azim Premji University & NGOs such as @educate_girls, @stc_india, @CRYINDIA & @TeachForIndia
