    साथ ही गृह मंत्रालय ने CAPFs और असम राइफल्स में भर्ती के लिए अग्निवीरों को निर्धारित अधिकतम प्रवेश आयु सीमा में 3 वर्ष की छूट देने का निर्णय किया है। और अग्निपथ योजना के पहले बैच के लिए यह छूट 5 वर्ष होगी।

    पिछले 2 साल में सेना में युवाओं को भर्ती होने का अवसर नहीं मिल पाया, इसलिए प्रधानमंत्री जी ने 'अग्निवीरों' की भर्ती की आयु सीमा को इस बार बढ़ाकर 21 की जगह 23 वर्ष कर दिया गया। इससे बहुत से नौजवानों को अग्निवीर बनने की पात्रता मिल जाएगी। - श्री
