    Crazy how states plan to criminally investigate every miscarriage (which happen in approx 1 in 4 pregnancies BTW) yet they don’t “have the resources” to test rape kits or enforce restraining orders 🤔

    Have to go to that vet later today, so I have taken some meds and I’m super out of it. If the vet wasn’t so ouchie, I wouldn’t have to take this medicine.

    The only time I’ve cried in front of a patient: a 20-something woman whose baby had multiple *lethal* malformations was forced to carry the pregnancy to term. Lacking access to prenatal care, she didn’t know about the malformations until it was too late to have an abortion. 1/n

    Just so we're clear: the pregnancy that ends up in the wrong spot, like the fallopian tube? The one that will NEVER turn into a baby and will rupture and kill your wife, daughter, or sister? Terminating that fetus is also an abortion, and they want to ban those, too.

    A note for my brothers and sisters in the pulpit: 1 in 4 women in the US have had an abortion, 7 in 10 of those identified themselves as Christians. It is more likely than not that women in your church have very personal experiences. Speak gently and wisely this weekend.
