    It was initially declared that 40 MLAs had opposed the Bill. 57 MLAs were present in the House during voting. We decided to move Court against this voting process. Afterwards, the Media reported that an official of the Assembly has admitted that an "ERROR" happened.

    "To err is human" but To err DELIBERATELY to gain unfair advantage is scheming. In the last 11 years as CM, couldn't manage (or never intended) to upgrade the voting system in WB Legislative Assembly. All other Assemblies across India have Electronic Voting System

    Terming 'reporting of facts' as 'slander' is a perception seen through the prism of fascism. Through this advisory is pointing a gun towards the satellite media while placing the gun on the shoulder of the cable operators. We will resist such a tyrannical move.

    I assured them that, very soon I would be stepping into the Party Office, with Ganga Jal, to purify the premises of the misdeeds of the scoundrels. We regard our Party Office as a sacred place like our holy Temples. We would rebuild it as early as possible.

    Stopped by to pay homage to the wrecked Howrah (Rural) District Party Office at Mansatala; torched by arsonists. Interacted with BJP District President Sri Arun Palchowdhury & other Karyakartas from the flyover as Police have blocked all entry & exit points & imposed Section 144.

    The Bethuadahari Business Society has called for a 72 hour strike, protesting how the mob stoked "Terror" (as they've termed it) & demanding the arrest of the culprits. If Administration fails to act, they would scale up their agitation. I extend my support to this genuine cause.

    What the Media covered: Rioters pelted stones & vandalised a local train in Bethuadahari Railway Station in Nadia district. What the Media didn't cover: The mob looted & vandalised hundreds of shops & homes at Bethuadahari. Motorcycles were burnt. People were "terrorised".

    Heart breaking news from Panihati. 3 devotees have unfortunately died & several others have fallen sick at the Danda Mahotsav at Panihati temple. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased & pray for the quick recovery of the devotees who fell ill.

    I have been unlawfully obstructed by on NH 116 at Radhamoni under Tamluk PS. is there a Curfew in place in Purba Medinipur District or Section 144 has been imposed? I am moving towards Kolaghat for having lunch. How is it prohibited?
