    The other side of the story, there are people doing their PhD in India (humbly including me here if I may) who are passionate about research and trying to do the best in their capacity,are questioned by our own people about the ability. It is easy to get recognition from people+

    The gap between undergrad student in India and in US/Europe is not that big, but the gap between PhD students in India and in US/Europe is significantly big. Every government has neglected grooming of Higher Education in India. For us to become a tech giant, we can't afford it.

    Decongest the cities. Educate the masses to return to their native towns and villages. Of course, reforestation and maintenance is the only way out.

    1.Improve public transport and levy extremely high tax on private vehicles to minimise them. 2. Start sustainable development instead of whatever madness is happening right now. Especially hill states with glaciers drying up. 3. Start discouraging plastic use whichever way.

    Go back to eco freindly infrastructure. More concrete structures...requires more HVAC systems...generates more heat. Which is mostly unchecked. Single building housed hundreds of Heat sinks. No doubt its cooling the inside..but ..what the heat sink do????

    Design of houses need to be energy efficient, in terms of natural light, direction of wall/windows/balcony, heat insulation (material-hollow bricks/cement/insulated top layer of walls, ceiling, curtain, paint etc.).

    Maybe theres a startup idea there. All the infra projects that destroy trees now a days require new trees to be planted elsewhere. Companies that are accountable for upkeep of newly planted trees and gets paid accordingly?(crowd sourced or by govt)

    Have a solar panel on every single rooftop, covering as much area as possible. It is not just about electricity production. Every joule of solar power converted to electricity is a joule not contributing to rising temperatures. Plus, it adds to reflectivity of surface as well.

    सौरभ की बातों में ग़ुस्सा और ईमानदारी दिखी। टाइम लाइन चेक किया। सोचा बंगाल में चल रही हिंसा पर भी इतना ग़ुस्साए होंगे, नहीं मिला। हैदराबाद और कश्मीर में मारे गए हिंदू युवक पर भी कुछ नहीं। महाराष्ट्र राजस्थान पर भी नहीं। अरे यार, ये भी तो एक साइड पकड़ कर चलने वाले पत्रकार निकले।
