Guntersville’s Lake City Jazz will play Thursday night at 6:30 downtown at Errol Allan Park as part of the Mountain Valley Arts Council’s Spring Concert Series.
Lake City Jazz has been entertaining Marshall County audiences since 2014 playing a variety of new and old jazz & blues.
They refer to their music as "easy-access" jazz. That is, songs that you'll likely recognize and be easily drawn into.
The LCJ playbook ranges from songs made popular by classic jazz artists — such as Frank Sinatra and Wes Montgomery — to more modern pop musicians like Stevie Wonder and Eric Clapton.
The quartet includes veteran musicians Norman Jenkins (keyboards), David Daniel (guitar), John Harvey (drums), and Micah Stott (bass).
People are encouraged to bring their own chairs as seating is limited. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved to Town Hall.
