B.B. King is the greatest living exponent of the blues and considered by many to be the most influential guitarist of the latter part of the 20th century. His career dates back to the late forties and despite now being in his eighties he remains a vibrant and charismatic live performer. B.B. King has been a frequent visitor to the Montreux festival, appearing nearly 20 times, so choosing one performance was no easy task. This 1993 concert will surely rank as one of his finest at any venue. With a superb backing band and a great set list its a must for any blues fan.

We invited ourselves for dinner — to Misha Piatigorsky's apartment in Washington Heights, NYC. Before food was ready, we had a blast recording a submission for NPR Tiny Desk Contest. ‘Everytime’ features one of the most beautiful and talented vocalists — Emily Braden — hanging out with a string quartet (2 violins, viola, cello) and Misha Piatigorsky’s jazz trio (with him at the piano, Gianluca Renzi playing bass, and Charles Gould on drums).
We had 3 days to rehearse, record, edit to get the submission just under the deadline. And so we did.

Jazz
Jazz is a music genre that originated from African American communities of New Orleans in the United States during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It emerged in the form of independent traditional and popular musical styles, all linked by the common bonds of African American and European American musical parentage with a performance orientation. Jazz spans a period of over a hundred years, encompassing a very wide range of music, making it difficult to define. Jazz makes heavy use of improvisation, polyrhythms, syncopation and the swing note, as well as aspects of European harmony, American popular music, the brass band tradition, and African musical elements such as blue notes and African-American styles such as ragtime. Although the foundation of jazz is deeply rooted within the black experience of the United States, different cultures have contributed their own experience to the music as well. Intellectuals around the world have hailed jazz as "one of America's original art forms".

Infant
An infant (from the Latin word infans, meaning "unable to speak" or "speechless") is the very young offspring of a human or animal. When applied to humans, the term is usually considered synonymous with baby or bairn (in Scottish English), but the latter is commonly applied to the young of any animal. When a human child learns to walk, the term toddler may be used instead.
The term infant is typically applied to young children between the ages of 1 month and 12 months; however, definitions may vary between birth and 1 year of age, or even between birth and 2 years of age. A newborn is an infant who is only hours, days, or up to a few weeks old. In medical contexts, newborn or neonate (from Latin, neonatus, newborn) refers to an infant in the first 28 days after birth; the term applies to premature infants, postmature infants, and full term infants. "And I" is a song written by American R&B singer Ciara, and produced by Adonis Shropshire for Ciara's first album, Goodies (2004). It was released as the album's fourth and final single on August 30, 2005 (see 2005 in music) in North America.
The song was originally the third choice for the fourth single. Ciara has mentioned in an interview that "Thug Style", "Hotline" or "Pick up the Phone" would be the fourth single, but when Ciara suggested "And I" to executives at her previous record label LaFace, they were unhappy because they wanted "Next to You" to be the fourth single.
Chart performance
At the time of the U.S. release of "And I", Ciara's collaboration with Bow Wow, "Like You", and her collaboration with Missy Elliott, "Lose Control", were at the height of their popularity. "And I" peaked at 96 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and 27 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, which were poor positions compared to those attained by the first three singles from the album Goodies. It was not released outside North America because of this, and it is Ciara's least successful single.

Before food was ready, we had a blast recording a submission for NPR Tiny Desk Contest. ‘Everytime’ features one of the most beautiful and talented vocalists — Emily Braden — hanging out with a string quartet (2 violins, viola, cello) and Misha Piatigorsky’s jazz trio (with him at the piano, Gianluca Renzi playing bass, and Charles Gould on drums). B.B. King is the greatest living exponent of the blues and considered by many to be the most influential guitarist of the latter part of the 20th century. His career dates back to the late forties and despite now being in his eighties he remains a vibrant and charismatic live performer. B.B. King has been a frequent visitor to the Montreux festival, appearing nearly 20 times, so choosing one performance was no easy task. This 1993 concert will surely rank as one of his finest at any venue. With a superb backing band and a great set list its a must for any blues fan.

Before food was ready, we had a blast recording a submission for NPR Tiny Desk Contest. ‘Everytime’ features one of the most beautiful and talented vocalists — Emily Braden — hanging out with a string quartet (2 violins, viola, cello) and Misha Piatigorsky’s jazz trio (with him at the piano, Gianluca Renzi playing bass, and Charles Gould on drums).
We had 3 days to rehearse, record, edit to get the submission just under the deadline. And so we did.

Before food was ready, we had a blast recording a submission for NPR Tiny Desk Contest. ‘Everytime’ features one of the most beautiful and talented vocalists — Emily Braden — hanging out with a string quartet (2 violins, viola, cello) and Misha Piatigorsky’s jazz trio (with him at the piano, Gianluca Renzi playing bass, and Charles Gould on drums).
We had 3 days to rehearse, record, edit to get the submission just under the deadline. And so we did.
