As a part of this divas number of functions are being organized today across J&K in which members of civil society, Panchayati Raj,members of Traders Fedration, Nambardar and Chowkidars are participating.

The aim of organizing "Thana Divas" is to improve Police-Public relation efficiency,transparency and accountability in policing particularly at the gross root level.

As a part of Public outreach programme "Thana Divas" initiative has been launched by Jammu and Kashmir Police across the UT of J&K. This event is being observed on 2nd and last Thursday of every month.

Huge amount of money was received in lien of such admission from the parents of the students, and the money so earned was ploughed into supporting terrorism in J&K.

Case FIR No.05/2020 was registered in CIK/SIA on 27-07- 2020 against unscrupulous persons who were hand in glove with some educational consultancies for arranging admission of J&K residents in MBBS & other professional courses in various Colleges/ Universities in Pakistan. (6/7)
