I really don't think you understand that having a country with 5 times the population of another country can play such a big role in comparing.

For it to be fair both samples need to be the same. So it does matter if a country is bigger.

Ofcourse the NFL has more domestic viewers. Look at the population difference. When the population is the same the amount shrinks from 12 mil diff to 4. And with the global attraction football has it goes beyond whatever the NFL does globally.

Didn't know everybody in the whole wide world used reddit. But even funner fact. r/MMA has 1.9 mil subs. So I guess MMA is almost as big as the NFL by your metrics.

Mate it might be broadcasted but how many people watch it? There is a difference between watched and broadcasted you know.

Also like I said the US has 5 times the population of the UK. So average per game would be 9.5 mil for the Premier League and the NFL was around 14.5-15. Also add the fact that tge Premier League has a broad audience outside the UK whilst the NFL doesn't.

So the super bowl is calculated outside the average NFL viewership? If so 112 mil worldwide vs 700 mil worldwide is a big big difference.

1.9 mil is UK only. Unlike the NFL, football is watched world wide. The only game watched world wide is the super bowl due to commercials. Also the US has about 5 times the population that the UK has.

The Premier League doesn't have an event like the super bowl. The closest thing in football to the superbowl is the Champions League final which has 700 million viewers compared to the 112 million super bowl viewers.
