And it was clearly 1-1 coming into the 3rd so winner of the 3rd takes the fight. Burns had success at the end but Khamzat won the majority of the round and had Burns pretty hurt so Khamzat takes it.

Maybe, but the division used to have GSP, Hughes, Condit, Lawler, Hendricks, Diaz, Penn, Shields etc. The sport’s progressing quickly and maybe that means these new guys are better but I don’t think they’d be guaranteed champs by any means.

They’re better than the recent Woodley/Wonderboy/Maia top 5 era but WW used to be a premier division. I don’t think it’s necessarily better than the GSP era.
