Some pay to get into college, while others will still be paying our way out of college for another 30 years. by MuricaMan in AdviceAnimals

Although I do agree schools should include classes like this, I also think over burdening schools is not right.

Schools should teach essentials and allow for children to be given the opportunity to learn how to operate socially whilst following rules and structure.

Parents should be more responsible with education's like this. Financial skills, sex education, taking responsibility, lawfulness, etc etc.

Mate, Reddit users' level of political knowledge is a joke. Any idea of a fact based discussion on anything politics here is like having a conversation in a wind tunnel.

It's just rhetoric that resonates with Reddit's user base. Stuff like this is all over the site.

20 emails in 24 hours... by StellyBellyV in assholedesign

[–]WuTom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every company uses software to schedule emails like this.

If you enter your email address for access to a video/email

If you create a free account

If you purchase a product

And a whole host of other things

Companies use automation software to schedule pre written content and emails. They also send content dynamically. For example if you purchase a skin cream product you will likely receive automatic email follow up for discounts on similar products. Within emails like this they might also have links to similar products such as an exfoliating pad or something. If you click that call to action you will start receiving content and offers specific to that because you have shown interest.

No it's not. This is just a mistake in how the automation campaign was set up.

It's human error, nothing to do with execs.

Automating emails is not hard, this is a mistake clearly.

Yeah it's clearly a scheduling problem. This is no way intended.

I'm not even American. People shouldn't put so much reliance on things outside their realm of control. Take personal responsibility.

Republicans are not going to give you a good life. Democrats aren't either. Only you can.

So true.

Most people have worked low wage jobs. Ones that take personal responsibility and put effort in rise up. Complainers sabotage their futures

True.

Capitalism might have negatives but wage mobility is the best it's ever been, you can make it if you take self responsibly seriously and apply yourself. Too many people like to hate and blame others though - higher concentration on Reddit it seems

The US now ranks 27th in the world for its levels of healthcare and education, according to a new study. This represents a significant decline from 1990, when it ranked sixth. by mvea in science

On portion yeah.

But Australia has a population less than 10% of the US.

Their immigration policies are extremely strict. The immigrants over there tend to be wealthy and/or skilled, moreso than a immigrants in other countries

Because Reddit.

If his dog had eaten his MtG collection it would be cool.

Glad your cool with your friend bro, he wouldn't take cash from your wallet and burn it in front of you. You can't liken this situation to be on the level as that, even if others think it's somehow the same.
