I don't really understand the point of your question, obviously the Gracies took the groundwork for BJJ from Maeda and Judo and I agree on almost all the negative opinions on the Gracie's but I do think they made enough additions to what they learned for BJJ to be considered its own martial art distinct from Ju Jitsu.
