    Yes, ..people should go and ask businesses, professionals (Doctors, CAs etc) about the decline in rent seeking by mafia dons.. Secondly, ppl who are talking police reforms should check with officials about level of local neta interference in policing under Yogi vis a vis SP/BSP

    If and when Yogi Adityanath is returned to office in 2022, amongst other factors, one important one would be the vastly improved law and order situation in state.

    In the morning the family aired its dissatisfaction with SIT and were resentful that their demand for CBI inquiry has been turned down. Now that CBI inquiry has been instituted they again change the tune.

    You will always find Goels/Sharmas/Pandeys standing up with a dalit victim where accused are upper caste Hindus. But do you ever see a Khan or Khanun standing up with a dalit where accused are Muslims? I don't recall any such case. Worse, expectations from them are so low

    Nonsense, there WAS consultation for these reforms, what this column advocates is unconstitutional veto power, no reform will pass that bar other than GST. And this is typical of how useless reform wallahs are, whine all the time, and then nitpick when reforms actually happen

    There is no intimidation, not in vocabulary, neither in tone, in the video you have embedded. On the contrary, the official is providing assurance to the family. If you have a visual or audio proof of actual intimidation, do please share that.
