Do you all realize how mad that is? This is your second star and Donovan Mitchell is supposed to be at least the secondary ball handler and he’s only getting the ball to Rudy 2 times a game. Insanity.
The teams gonna blow it up after a 1st rd exit. I just wanna know which they’ll keep
if Gobert ends up on the Knicks, their defense would be a nightmare to play against. Plus the Knicks would actually utilize him down low.
Man if the Mavs got Gobert we'd be a championship level team immediately.
Edit: according to 538s build a team The mavs would become a top 3 team in the league with the addition of Gobert.
They should just trade both. Mitchell is not going to stay there long term and Gobert isn't going to have people signing up to join him.

Honestly I prefer that. We're getting embarrassed slowly over an entire season instead of all at once. If that kid who always pees his pants at school pees his pants, no one remembers. But if the cool kid at school does it, everyone remembers it forever

it's probably just because they deeply hate each other, on a personal level. not a big deal.
When this time has passed them both they’ll look back and see how they squandered this opportunity with their petty grievances towards eachother but it will be too late because time will have moved on. Like most people, in the moment they’re not appreciating what they could do & are letting their emotions blind them.
Mitchell deeply hates Gobert. Gobert seems like he wanted to get along but kept getting rejected.
