  9. Today 18 fire engines - part of a 22-vehicle convoy - packed with 5,000 items of kit & equipment - set off to Poland, to assist firefighters in Ukraine. NFCC Chair says it was a 'humbling experience' following a huge effort from fire services, NFCC, FIRE AID and the industry.

  12. And they’re off! The convoy of 22 vehicles are now on the way stocked with more than 5,000 items of fire and rescue kit and equipment, from helmets to breathing apparatus, ready to support firefighters in Ukraine

  19. Final preparations are being made today before nine GMFRS volunteers join a national convoy to donate equipment and PPE to firefighters on the frontline in Ukraine. GMFRS is donating these fire appliances, plus generators and a number of hose reels.
