I installed a main SSD and decided I might as well do a fresh install. The password I chose needs me to do AltGr + a number key for one of the signs in it as that's how most special signs in my keyboard language are accessed. Every time I press it, the login screen changes to a simple terminal window and some character that's completely different seems to be typed in. Press it again, the login screen changes back to the normal one. As far as I can tell, it's not possible for me to enter my password.

Is there a way to show password being typed in the encryption login? Can this behavior be disabled?

An important fix, that makes Gnome perform better on almost every computer missed Gnome 42, but the Ubuntu devs are going to include it on 22.04.

Thing is, will Pop include it?

Been trying to align my workflow to popOS since quite a while, but it seems that the tigerlake graphics drivers are hot garbage? It looks like VSync is off across the board, you can notice very jarring visual screen tear when scrolling through the UI.

Second, and last annoyance, the touchpad calibration seems god awful, or is it just me? I know Linux has a hard time with larger sized touchpads, but the sensitivity and scrolling experience I found was really way off. For starters, the touchpad acceleration is very, very annoying to deal with, and CANNOT be turned off even after setting it to "flat" in Gnome tweaks. Then there's scrolling, it's too sensitive. You glide even a sinch with 2 fingers, and half of the god damn page is gone. There's no particular solution that I found to this problem.

Anyone else with the same machine able to confirm?
