I also would have liked to sand blast it but I’m definitely on a budget and didn’t wanna piss my neighbors off anymore than I already was by running a grinder for 6 hours a day on the weekend

So I was dumb and thought I could take a crt apart. The rear of the tube has cracked and the hiss is done, but am I sitting on a powder keg right now? by italian_baptist in engineering

If it’s already broke you’re fine.

Fun story, me a buddies got super drunk and broke one of these style tvs in our backyard and it was crazy loud! We put an axe straight through the screen and it sounded like a bomb went off. Our neighbors weren’t very happy to say the least

Yes the bed is still in the process of getting a second fuel door. I’m planning on using a JK fuel door since it fits in a round hole. I just need to run to the junkyard to pick up some parts.

I can fill it from under the fender right now and if I fill the rear tank then it will also fill the front but if I only fill the front it won’t fill the rear. The rear will flow into the front tank since it sits a bit higher. There’s a little less than an inch between the top of the tank and the bed so it’s about as high up as I can get it.

I still need to weld the cable winch for the spare to the bracket beneath the tank so I can put the spare back under the bed.

Exactly. I do 6-8 500 mile trips a year so being able to fill up at the cheaper stops across borders really helps. Saving .4 a gallon adds up with 50 gallons

Just got it good enough. Arizona doesn’t rust too fast so I still got another decade before there’s any real rust on it

Yea not fun but it gets the job done. Remember the respirator while you’re doing this stuff, rust in the lungs is no joke

Not really. I split my time between az and Bakersfield. Az diesel is about 5.80 now and last I checked in Bakersfield it was around 6.20

Yes. I plumbed in a sump to the bottom and hooked that into another sump on the main tank

It was definitely an impulse project. I had an extra week and wanted to do this. I picked up the fuel tank for a 12 pack. It’s just the rustoleum oil based paint and I just brushed it on. Definitely messy but pretty easy

I run KO2s on my f250 and love them. I don’t put a ton of miles on my truck but they’re usually pretty hard miles

What is the best reply to "I fucked your mom." ? by vizex9 in AskReddit

True story:

In high school, me and a buddy were messing around and I said “Tanner, your moms a hoe” he replied back with “jokes on you my moms dead”.

His mom had passed away several years ago in a snorkeling incident in Hawaii. Needless to say I felt like an ass but no feelings were hurt.

Another note on the first aid kit, you usually only need a couple band aids- they’re not really even necessary for an overnight trip. I would add a burn care kit, compression bandage, and a tourniquet or two.
