The Court passed an interim injunction to restrain Manimekalai and Ganesan himself from going to the media or making social media comments regarding their respective contentions in the defamation suit filed by the latter over the allegations raised by the former. 3/n

In 2018, Manimekalai had made allegations of attempted abduction and sexual harassment against Ganesan. He has since filed multiple cases against her.
