    Our plows are out across the state clearing roads during the snow storm. This video is from Weedsport. As you can see, our plows like space. Please give them room to work. The SAFEST place to drive during winter weather is 6 car lengths BEHIND a plow.

    Precipitation is beginning to spread west to east across the region. Any rain or mix to start will quickly change to all snow this morning. The snow will increase in intensity for the late morning into the afternoon, and travel will be very difficult during this time.

    With a nationwide blood shortage, it is senseless to have outdated barriers that prevent people from donating blood. 's this week joined other states calling on to end its blood donation policy that discriminates against LGBTQ+ men.

    I joined and other health departments nationwide in calling on to finally end its ban on blood donations from gay & bisexual men. This discriminatory policy has no basis in science & exacerbates the national shortage of blood.
