The first seed round of capital was raised to build out the technology in earnest, and the platform started to acquire organic users. UrbanOutsource went through a rebrand and reemerged as UrbanYou. UrbanYou went on to hit $1M in sales and consistently hitting 1,000 jobs per month.
UrbanOutsource was built and sent to market offering cleaning, maintenance and gardening services for busy professionals.
When co-founders Noga and Elke met while working at Yahoo! both women were convinced there was a better way to hire professional help. They both left their Senior Executive roles and set about changing the home services industry.
