    Elections are crucial but food is essential. When in Manipur eat Traditional Manipuri Thali - served on banana leaves. Side dishes include a variety of ooty, boiled vegetables, pickles, mustard paste and iromba (fermented fish, potatoes, shrimps, mushrooms, red chillies etc).
