This seems a little extreme to me, personally. Though I am glad to see consequences for indefensible actions. I just wish the people that truly deserve consequences got them, instead of the star of Independence Day. 🤷🏻‍♀️

If Democrats didn’t show up in Georgia last year, we would have never been able to say the words Justice Brown Jackson today. Don't let anyone tell you we don’t have something to fight for right now. Everything is on the line.

I'm agnostic on Scotch. But "Enjoy a good bourbon" is my dominate thought about alcohol in general.

I'll say it out loud: Scotch is pretentious and gross. Enjoy a good bourbon instead.

Watching the GOP try to reverse the tide of history is something to behold. Say gay. Say abortion. Say Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. Scream it all from the rooftops. They can stamp their feet all they want. Progress is only going to roll on.

Right to repair is long overdue and common sense legislation that would massively reduce waste and stop giant companies from profiting from preventing regular folks from just fixing their own stuff. Thanks to farmers for leading the way on this one. We all need it.

Republican senators and staffers stormed out in anger as the first Black woman was confirmed to the highest court in America. Don’t ever forget what we all just saw.

Judge Jackson’s confirmation was a historic moment for our nation. We’ve taken another step toward making our highest court reflect the diversity of America. She will be an incredible Justice, and I was honored to share this moment with her.

Decency triumphs over craven racism and deception. I hope Lindsey Graham, Tom Cotton, Josh Hawley, and Marsha Blackburn are biting down hard. Their reputations, never impressive, are permanently stained.
