Description
Generic Priligy (Dapoxetine) is the first oral prescription medication specifically approved for the treatment of premature ejaculation (PE). Perfect for men who want to last longer before ejaculation and to control the timing of ejaculation.
This medication contains 60mg of dapoxetine, the active ingredient in the standard dosage (60mg).
Generic Priligy should taken as required an hour or so before sex, rather than being taken every day. Generic Priligy works fast and is quickly eliminated from the body.
This medication begins to work within an hour of ingestion and lasts for up to 5 hours.
Generic Priligy can be taken as often as once daily. Exceeding the recommended daily dosage increases the risk of possible side effects.
DETAILS OF MEDICATION
Name of Medication
Dapoxetine HCl - commonly known as Generic Priligy
Description of Medication
Green blue-coloured round-shaped tablet
Effect of Medication
Generic Priligy is used to increase control over ejaculation and to extend the time before reaching ejaculation in men.
Generic Priligy works by increasing the levels of the natural chemical, serotonin, in the brain. Increased serotonin levels may extend the time before ejaculation by slowing the pathways in the body that are associated with premature ejaculation (PE).
Generic Priligy is a treatment and not a cure for PE.
Generic Priligy does not protect you or your partner from sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.
Generic Priligy does not increase your sex drive and will only work if you are sexually stimulated.
How to Take Generic Priligy
Generic Priligy should be taken as directed. For best results, take dosage orally about 1 hour before you intend having sex. Take Generic Priligy with a large glass of water, with or without food. For best results, avoid taking after a large meal.
Generic Priligy should not be taken with alcohol. Taking Generic Priligy with alcohol can increase the chances of fainting and other side effects associated with drinking alcohol.
Avoid using Generic Priligy with recreational drugs containing Butyl or Amyl Nitrates (poppers).
After taking Generic Priligy, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
Drug Class
Generic Priligy is classed as a short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) drug.
