    We heard you –– Tweets were *too* edge to edge in this experiment. So we’ve updated it on Android to test more space between Tweets on the timeline so it’s easier to tell when one Tweets ends and the next begins.

    Where are video captions when you need them? They’re here now automatically on videos uploaded starting today. Android & iOS: auto-captions will show on muted Tweet videos; keep them on when unmuted via your device's accessibility settings Web: use the "CC" button to turn on/off

    We got your feedback –– prompts on potentially intense convos weren't hitting the mark. We’ve made some updates & will test them for a limited time on iOS & web: ▪️ We've added signals to more accurately determine when prompts appear ▪️ You won't see more than 3 prompts per day

    Twitter receives millions of reports and we know there’s more work to do to ensure people feel safe & heard. That’s why we’re testing a new reporting process to make it easier to report unhealthy and unwanted content. Here’s how we’re approaching it:

    Having a hit Tweet is cool, but if incoming replies start to get overwhelming you can change who can reply from the icon at the top right of the Tweet. We’re testing a notification to remind some of you on Android & iOS about this option when your Tweet starts getting attention.

    The Notification tab on the app. On the “All” tab, there’s a prompt at the top with the headline, “Your Tweet is getting attention”. Below that it reads, “You were Retweeted by an account with lots of followers. Want to limit replies?” There is a button to “Change who can reply” and a “Not now” button to dismiss the prompt.

    our team is focused on making sure the Spaces you enter are relevant and safe but if you come across abusive or harmful Spaces, please report it so we can quickly take action you can report a space by tapping the “···” icon and tapping Report this Space

    we heard your concerns and saw your Tweets—they helped us find some bugs in Spaces where reported content was still visible the bugs have been fixed and it’s something we’ll continue to work on additionally, we made a small but important change 👇

    We’ve made some updates on iOS to prevent Tweets from disappearing mid-read. Now when you pause your timeline scrolling to look at a Tweet, it should stay put!

    Redesigned labels for potentially misleading Tweets are now rolling out to more of you. In our test, more people clicked into the new labels and fewer people Retweeted or liked potentially misleading Tweets with these labels. We'll continue to improve our label design.

    The timeline on web with two Tweets labeled for potentially misleading information. One label has the headline, “Stay informed” and the other label has the headline, “Misleading”, with each label having a description for context and link to “Find out more”.

    another way to discover Spaces! if you’re listening to a Space, your followers will see it at the top of their timeline if you don’t want your followers to see, that’s okay too! you have control over who can view your listening activity by turning this off in your settings

    The top of the home timeline now shows when people you follow are listening to a Space. This can be turned off by going into your settings under Privacy and safety.

    If you want to share your latest Instagram post on the Twitter timeline too, you’re in luck: now when you share a link to an IG post in a Tweet, it’ll show up as a card with a preview of the photo. Rolling out on Android, iOS, and web.
