To be clear, Rand Paul does not believe that the US has any responsibility on the global stage. Morality and decency escape him. He does not call for an end to conflict because he suddenly cares about people who don’t look like him.

Rand Paul is a despicable, shameful and embarrassing politician who has no place in office, but he’s found the luck of a broken clock. He doesn’t actually care about the people of Yemen much less starving and struggling people here at home.

The U.S. has a responsibility to end its role in the humanitarian crisis facing the people of Yemen. The sale of arms to Saudi Arabia should be halted.
