    The new rules have allowed for vexatious complaints to result in the accounts of two journalists being suspended, without them having breached terms of use. The effect of this is censorship of legitimate, regulated journalism.

    The confluence of censortech and digital harassment campaigns is bad for journalism and bad for politics. I think we are very early in this turn and things are going to get quite a lot worse.

    Pretty fun to live in a country that can now justify stripping my citizenship on the basis that a country I wasn't born in could offer me citizenship.

    People scoffed when we said stripping Shamima Begum of her citizenship created a dangerous precedent, and now look: the Nationality and Borders Bill passed last night creates second-class citizens out of millions of Britain’s dual nationals.
