Keith Barbour
Keith Barbour (born January 21, 1941 in New York City) is an American singer-songwriter. He was a member of the Jabberwocks, Brown University's oldest male a cappella group, while in college. He was a member of The New Christy Minstrels before signing to Epic Records as a solo artist in 1969. He released an album, Echo Park, in 1969, which hit #163 on the Billboard 200, and the title track, written by Buzz Clifford, hit #40 on the Pop Singles chart. He had a follow-up single, "My God and I" in November 1970. Barbour was married to TV soap actress Deidre Hall from 1971 to 1978.

Bob Markley
Robert H. "Bob" Markley (August 29, 1935 – September 9, 2003) was an American singer-songwriter and record producer, most notably as one of the founding members of the psychedelic rock band, The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, in the late 1960s. Markley, the adopted son of an oil tycoon, was first a law graduate, and then a local television persona for the Oklahoma programming, Oklahoma Bandstand in 1958. By 1960, he started a decade-long music career, and became one of the most controversial figures that emerged from the era.
Early music career
In 1960, Markley moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career after performing in several college bands. He was signed by Warner Bros. Records to release his first single. The single, "Will We Meet Again" b/w "Tia Juana Ball" was released in late 1960. Markley would perform vocals, and utilize the bongos as his standard equipment. By late 1961, another single emerged under the same label titled, "Summers Comin' On" b/w "It Should Have Been Me". All of the songs were either written or co-written by Markley. His co-writer was Baker Knight, who would later write "Shifting Sands" for The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band on their album, Part One. Markley's solo career stalled after the singles were met with very little success. These rare releases would be re-released decades later on the 2011 compilation album, The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band Companion.

Sunnyvale Public Library's 3-D printer has generated more demand than ever for programs on topics such as 3D design, process, and production from the local community. That's why more than 100 patrons packed the program room in April to welcome the consummate professional in the area of 3D sculpture and maze design, Michael McGinnis. Here is an exclusive interview with McGinnis on location in the Sunnyvale Public Library program room. McGinnis's award winning hand-held puzzle, Perplexus™, has won numerous awards from both the toy industry and the National Parenting Center as well as other parent advocacy groups. Since brain bending puzzles like Perplexus™ exercise our manual dexterity and spatial reasoning, they aren't just for kids. Adults were captivated by Michael's narrative of the evolution of Perplexus™ from a school art project to its current status as an international commercial sensation. After the interview and the lecture, the young at heart (both young and old) were invited to come forward and try out McGinnis's vast collection of 3-D labyrinths and prototypes, including one model not yet on the market. Then, he rolled his giant handmade Superplexus™ out to the lobby as a limited engagement for a play date with the public until the end of April. Sunnyvale Public Library's 3-D printer has generated more demand than ever for programs on topics such as 3D design, process, and production from the local community. That's why more than 100 patrons packed the program room in April to welcome the consummate professional in the area of 3D sculpture and maze design, Michael McGinnis. Here is an exclusive interview with McGinnis on location in the Sunnyvale Public Library program room.
McGinnis's award winning hand-held puzzle, Perplexus™, has won numerous awards from both the toy industry and the National Parenting Center as well as other parent advocacy groups. Since brain bending puzzles like Perplexus™ exercise our manual dexterity and spatial reasoning, they aren't just for kids. Adults were captivated by Michael's narrative of the evolution of Perplexus™ from a school art project to its current status as an international commercial sensation.
After the interview and the lecture, the young at heart (both young and old) were invited to come forward and try out McGinnis's vast collection of 3-D labyrinths and prototypes, including one model not yet on the market. Then, he rolled his giant handmade Superplexus™ out to the lobby as a limited engagement for a play date with the public until the end of April. All are welcome to Sunnyvale Public Library during the month of April to take the Superplexus™ for a spin!

Dr Michael McGinnis is a physician, epidemiologist, and long-time contributor to national and international health programs and policy. An elected Member of the Institute of Medicine (IOM), he has, since 2005 also served as IOM Senior Scholar and Executive Director of the IOM Roundtable on Value & Science-Driven Health Care. He founded and stewards the IOMs Learning Health System Initiative, and, in prior posts, also served as founding leader for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundations (RWJF) Health Group, the World Bank/European Commissions Task Force for Health Reconstruction in Bosnia, and, in the U.S. government, the Office of Research Integrity, the Nutrition Policy Board, and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion.

Sunnyvale Public Library's 3-D printer has generated more demand than ever for programs on topics such as 3D design, process, and production from the local community. That's why more than 100 patrons packed the program room in April to welcome the consummate professional in the area of 3D sculpture and maze design, Michael McGinnis. Here is an exclusive interview with McGinnis on location in the Sunnyvale Public Library program room.
McGinnis's award winning hand-held puzzle, Perplexus™, has won numerous awards from both the toy industry and the National Parenting Center as well as other parent advocacy groups. Since brain bending puzzles like Perplexus™ exercise our manual dexterity and spatial reasoning, they aren't just for kids. Adults were captivated by Michael's narrative of the evolution of Perplexus™ from a school art project to its current status as an international commercial sensation.
After the interview and the lecture, the young at heart (both young and old) were invited to come forward and try out McGinnis's vast collection of 3-D labyrinths and prototypes, including one model not yet on the market. Then, he rolled his giant handmade Superplexus™ out to the lobby as a limited engagement for a play date with the public until the end of April. All are welcome to Sunnyvale Public Library during the month of April to take the Superplexus™ for a spin!

Sunnyvale Public Library's 3-D printer has generated more demand than ever for programs on topics such as 3D design, process, and production from the local community. That's why more than 100 patrons packed the program room in April to welcome the consummate professional in the area of 3D sculpture and maze design, Michael McGinnis. Here is an exclusive interview with McGinnis on location in the Sunnyvale Public Library program room.
McGinnis's award winning hand-held puzzle, Perplexus™, has won numerous awards from both the toy industry and the National Parenting Center as well as other parent advocacy groups. Since brain bending puzzles like Perplexus™ exercise our manual dexterity and spatial reasoning, they aren't just for kids. In the United States, there is an incredible amount of multi-stakeholder collective action in the health care system. Health care services are delivered by patients via many different kinds of shared resource commons, including sophisticated clinical procedures and health promotion campaigns, which can be understood as small-scale pooled knowledge commons, or constructed micro-commons.
In this keynote lecture, Professor Michael McGinnis discusses how Elinor Ostrom's research on common property in the sustainable management of shared natural resources apply to individual micro-cosmos in health care delivery, as well as to the aggregate processes at the community and national levels. Professor McGinnis also uses the concepts of collective consumption units and the production-provision distinction initially emphasized by Vincent Ostrom.
Professor McGinnis notes that Micro-level programs begin as great ideas implemented in a specific setting, but most face problems of (1) sustainability when original funding runs out, (2) scaling the programs up or down to fully capture efficiencies of scale, and (3) finding ways to link the programs together so they will be mutually reinforcing and coordinated.
McGinnis concludes that what is needed is for local leaders to build and maintain institutional arrangements that link together the various types of programs in ways that make their mutual sustainability more likely, in order to make it look more like a polycentric system of governance.

Michael led Vision Quests in Montana in the 1990's and conducts a Purification and Healing Ceremony (sweatlodge) three times a year in Madison County. He also has a private practice out of his home in Asheville, NC.
