Eleuterio Barraza, 91, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020, in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Barraza was born in Lafayette Ranch in Webb County and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emma R. Barraza; Sons, Rogelio Barraza, Rosendo Barraza and Javier Barraza; Parents, Eleuterio Barraza and Celestina Barraza; Brother, Victor Barraza; Grandson, Javier Barraza Jr.; and Daughter-in-Law, Carmen Barraza.
He is survived by his sons, Rodolfo Barraza, Rene (Adriana) Barraza, Hugo (Gabby) Barraza, Jose (Dalia) Barraza and Roberto Barraza; Daughters, Leticia C. (Daniel) Avila, Ana Luisa (Roberto) Esparza and Diana Melinda Barraza; Daughter-in-Laws, Celia Barraza, Imelda F. Barraza and Sylvia Barraza; Siblings, Reynaldo (Lupe) Barraza, Ruben Barraza, Ricardo (Rosario) Barraza, Elvira Villarreal and Maria (Lorenzo) Medina; 29 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020.
Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church.
Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
