Dans le cadre sublime de la Grange au Lac, AaRON nous présente en live son nouvel album : Anatomy of Light.
Notre dernière captation d’AaRON remonte à septembre 2020. C’était aux Folies Bergère. Pour ce nouveau concert avec le duo, nous continuons dans le thème pastoral puisque c’est dans les Alpes, à quelques encablures du Lac Léman, que nous posons aujourd’hui nos caméras.
Pop à fleur de peau
Contrairement à ce que l’on pourrait penser, AaRON n’est pas un prénom mais l’acronyme de "Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland". Découvert et aussitôt consacré grâce au magnifique "U-Turn (Lilly)", le duo ne cesse depuis de se réinventer sans pour autant trahir son socle d’influence : trip-hop et pop-rock mélancolique venus d’outre-Manche. Chaque album d’AaRon est en effet l’occasion pour le duo d’explorer de nouveaux horizons musicaux : Birds In The Storm (2010) était un poil plus blues qu’Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland, l’album live Waves From The Road (2011) revisitait les morceaux du groupe par des instrumentations nouvelles tandis que We Cut The Night (2015) marquait un virage stylistique en s'injectant une touche d’électronique.
Un nouvel album sensuel
L’an dernier, AaRON est revenu avec l’album Anatomy of Light. Introduit par l’EP Odyssée et le morceau "The Flame", ce nouvel opus confirme la mue amorcée par We Cut the Night, le duo s’enfonçant toujours plus profondément dans les méandres hypnotiques et sensuels de l’electro.

Das letzte Mal, dass ARTE ein Konzert des französischen Duos AaRON aufzeichnete, war im September 2020 im Folies Bergère in Paris. Für das neue Konzert wird die Stadt gegen die Alpen eingetauscht.
Anders als man vermuten könnte, ist der Bandname AaRON kein Vorname, sondern das Akronym für „Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland“. Der Durchbruch gelang den Musikern mit der Single „U-Turn (Lili)“. Seither erfinden sie sich immer wieder neu, ohne dabei ihren musikalischen Wurzeln untreu zu werden: dem Trip-Hop und dem melancholischen Pop-Rock aus Großbritannien.
Jedes ihrer Alben ist für AaRON eine Gelegenheit, musikalisches Neuland zu beschreiten. So enthielt „Birds In The Storm“ (2010) mehr Blues-Elemente als „Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland“, auf ihrem Live-Album „Waves From The Road“ (2011) coverte die Band Teile ihrer eigenen Songs, und „We Cut The Night“ (2015) markierte mit seinem Elektro-Einschlag eine stilistische Wende.
Letztes Jahr meldeten sich AaRON mit ihrem neuen Album „Anatomy of Light“ zurück, eingeleitet von den Songs „The Flame“ und „Odyssée“, die vorab auf einer EP erschienen. Das jüngste Opus setzt mit seinem sinnlich-hypnotischen Elektro-Sound den bereits mit „We Cut the Night“ eingeschlagen Weg fort.

In the Hebrew Bible and the Quran, Aaron אַהֲרֹן (UK /ˈɛərən/, US /ˈærən/) was the older brother of Moses (Exodus 6:16-20, 7:7; Qur'an 28:34) and a prophet of God. Unlike Moses, who grew up in the Egyptian royal court, Aaron and his elder sister Miriam remained with their kinsmen in the eastern border-land of Egypt (Goshen). When Moses first confronted the Egyptian king about the Israelites, Aaron served as his brother's spokesman ("prophet") to Pharaoh. (Exodus 7:1) Part of the Law (Torah) that Moses received from God at Sinai granted Aaron the priesthood for himself and his male descendants, and he became the first High Priest of the Israelites. Various dates for his life have been proposed, ranging from approximately 1600 to 1200 BC. Aaron died before the Israelites crossed the Jordan river and he was buried on Mount Hor (Numbers 33:39; Deuteronomy 10:6 says he died and was buried at Moserah). Aaron is also mentioned in the New Testament of the Bible.

Aaron Scotus, Irish abbot and musician, fl. late 10th century – 14 December 1052.
Background
Aaron was an Irish abbot and music theorist, the term Scotus at the time denoting Irish (person).
St. Martin's of Cologne
A Benedictine, Scotus was the abbot of St. Martin, Cologne, Germany in the year 1042. He pilgrimaged in his youth to Colonia to the Gaelic-Irish convent of St. Martin. He became abbot of the same in 1042. He was identified with Aaron, abbot of St. Pantaleon. Today historians reject this identification.
Work as a composer
It is believed that he first introduced the Gregorian evening service (nocturns) into Germany. He authored two historically important treaties: De utilitate cantus vocalis et de modo cantandi atque psallendi and De regulis tonorum et symphoniarum. The library of St. Martin, Cologne conserves his work Tractatum de utilitate cantus vocalis et de modo cantandi atque psallendi. He wrote three musical treatises, all of which have been lost.
Aaron died on December 14, 1052.

Dans le cadre sublime de la Grange au Lac, AaRON nous présente en live son nouvel album : Anatomy of Light.
Notre dernière captation d’AaRON remonte à septembre 2020. C’était aux Folies Bergère. Pour ce nouveau concert avec le duo, nous continuons dans le thème pastoral puisque c’est dans les Alpes, à quelques encablures du Lac Léman, que nous posons aujourd’hui nos caméras.
Pop à fleur de peau
Contrairement à ce que l’on pourrait penser, AaRON n’est pas un prénom mais l’acronyme de "Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland". Découvert et aussitôt consacré grâce au magnifique "U-Turn (Lilly)", le duo ne cesse depuis de se réinventer sans pour autant trahir son socle d’influence : trip-hop et pop-rock mélancolique venus d’outre-Manche. Chaque album d’AaRon est en effet l’occasion pour le duo d’explorer de nouveaux horizons musicaux : Birds In The Storm (2010) était un poil plus blues qu’Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland, l’album live Waves From The Road (2011) revisitait les morceaux du groupe par des instrumentations nouvelles tandis que We Cut The Night (2015) marquait un virage stylistique en s'injectant une touche d’électronique.
Un nouvel album sensuel
L’an dernier, AaRON est revenu avec l’album Anatomy of Light. Introduit par l’EP Odyssée et le morceau "The Flame", ce nouvel opus confirme la mue amorcée par We Cut the Night, le duo s’enfonçant toujours plus profondément dans les méandres hypnotiques et sensuels de l’electro.

Das letzte Mal, dass ARTE ein Konzert des französischen Duos AaRON aufzeichnete, war im September 2020 im Folies Bergère in Paris. Für das neue Konzert wird die Stadt gegen die Alpen eingetauscht.
Anders als man vermuten könnte, ist der Bandname AaRON kein Vorname, sondern das Akronym für „Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland“. Der Durchbruch gelang den Musikern mit der Single „U-Turn (Lili)“. Seither erfinden sie sich immer wieder neu, ohne dabei ihren musikalischen Wurzeln untreu zu werden: dem Trip-Hop und dem melancholischen Pop-Rock aus Großbritannien.
Jedes ihrer Alben ist für AaRON eine Gelegenheit, musikalisches Neuland zu beschreiten. So enthielt „Birds In The Storm“ (2010) mehr Blues-Elemente als „Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland“, auf ihrem Live-Album „Waves From The Road“ (2011) coverte die Band Teile ihrer eigenen Songs, und „We Cut The Night“ (2015) markierte mit seinem Elektro-Einschlag eine stilistische Wende.
Letztes Jahr meldeten sich AaRON mit ihrem neuen Album „Anatomy of Light“ zurück, eingeleitet von den Songs „The Flame“ und „Odyssée“, die vorab auf einer EP erschienen. Das jüngste Opus setzt mit seinem sinnlich-hypnotischen Elektro-Sound den bereits mit „We Cut the Night“ eingeschlagen Weg fort.

Dans le cadre sublime de la Grange au Lac, AaRON nous présente en live son nouvel album : Anatomy of Light.
Notre dernière captation d’AaRON remonte à septembre 2020. C’était aux Folies Bergère. Pour ce nouveau concert avec le duo, nous continuons dans le thème pastoral puisque c’est dans les Alpes, à quelques encablures du Lac Léman, que nous posons aujourd’hui nos caméras.
Pop à fleur de peau
Contrairement à ce que l’on pourrait penser, AaRON n’est pas un prénom mais l’acronyme de "Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland". Découvert et aussitôt consacré grâce au magnifique "U-Turn (Lilly)", le duo ne cesse depuis de se réinventer sans pour autant trahir son socle d’influence : trip-hop et pop-rock mélancolique venus d’outre-Manche. Chaque album d’AaRon est en effet l’occasion pour le duo d’explorer de nouveaux horizons musicaux : Birds In The Storm (2010) était un poil plus blues qu’Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland, l’album live Waves From The Road (2011) revisitait les morceaux du groupe par des instrumentations nouvelles tandis que We Cut The Night (2015) marquait un virage stylistique en s'injectant une touche d’électronique.
Un nouvel album sensuel
L’an dernier, AaRON est revenu avec l’album Anatomy of Light. Introduit par l’EP Odyssée et le morceau "The Flame", ce nouvel opus confirme la mue amorcée par We Cut the Night, le duo s’enfonçant toujours plus profondément dans les méandres hypnotiques et sensuels de l’electro.

Das letzte Mal, dass ARTE ein Konzert des französischen Duos AaRON aufzeichnete, war im September 2020 im Folies Bergère in Paris. Für das neue Konzert wird die Stadt gegen die Alpen eingetauscht.
Anders als man vermuten könnte, ist der Bandname AaRON kein Vorname, sondern das Akronym für „Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland“. Der Durchbruch gelang den Musikern mit der Single „U-Turn (Lili)“. Seither erfinden sie sich immer wieder neu, ohne dabei ihren musikalischen Wurzeln untreu zu werden: dem Trip-Hop und dem melancholischen Pop-Rock aus Großbritannien.
Jedes ihrer Alben ist für AaRON eine Gelegenheit, musikalisches Neuland zu beschreiten. So enthielt „Birds In The Storm“ (2010) mehr Blues-Elemente als „Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland“, auf ihrem Live-Album „Waves From The Road“ (2011) coverte die Band Teile ihrer eigenen Songs, und „We Cut The Night“ (2015) markierte mit seinem Elektro-Einschlag eine stilistische Wende.
Letztes Jahr meldeten sich AaRON mit ihrem neuen Album „Anatomy of Light“ zurück, eingeleitet von den Songs „The Flame“ und „Odyssée“, die vorab auf einer EP erschienen. Das jüngste Opus setzt mit seinem sinnlich-hypnotischen Elektro-Sound den bereits mit „We Cut the Night“ eingeschlagen Weg fort.

In the Hebrew Bible and the Quran, Aaron אַהֲרֹן (UK /ˈɛərən/, US /ˈærən/) was the older brother of Moses (Exodus 6:16-20, 7:7; Qur'an 28:34) and a prophet of God. Unlike Moses, who grew up in the Egyptian royal court, Aaron and his elder sister Miriam remained with their kinsmen in the eastern border-land of Egypt (Goshen). When Moses first confronted the Egyptian king about the Israelites, Aaron served as his brother's spokesman ("prophet") to Pharaoh. (Exodus 7:1) Part of the Law (Torah) that Moses received from God at Sinai granted Aaron the priesthood for himself and his male descendants, and he became the first High Priest of the Israelites. Various dates for his life have been proposed, ranging from approximately 1600 to 1200 BC. Aaron died before the Israelites crossed the Jordan river and he was buried on Mount Hor (Numbers 33:39; Deuteronomy 10:6 says he died and was buried at Moserah). Aaron is also mentioned in the New Testament of the Bible.
