Michael Gerard "Mike" Tyson (/ˈtaɪsən/; born June 30, 1966) is an American former professional boxer. He held the undisputed world heavyweight championship and holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles at 20 years, 4 months, and 22 days old. Tyson won his first 19 professional bouts by knockout, 12 of them in the first round. He won the WBC title in 1986 after defeating Trevor Berbick by a TKO in the second round. In 1987, Tyson added the WBA and IBF titles after defeating James Smith and Tony Tucker. This made him the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles, and the only heavyweight to successively unify them.
In 1988, Tyson became the lineal champion when he knocked out Michael Spinks in 91 seconds. Tyson successfully defended the world heavyweight championship nine times, including victories over Larry Holmes and Frank Bruno. In 1990, he lost his titles to underdog James "Buster" Douglas, by knockout in round 10. Attempting to regain the titles, he defeated Donovan Ruddock twice in 1991, but pulled out of a fight with undisputed heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield due to injury. In 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping Desiree Washington and sentenced to six years in prison but was released after serving three years. After his release, he engaged in a series of comeback fights. In 1996, he won the WBC and WBA titles after defeating Frank Bruno and Bruce Seldon by knockout. With his defeat of Bruno, Tyson joined Floyd Patterson, Muhammad Ali, Tim Witherspoon, Evander Holyfield, and George Foreman as the only men in boxing history to that point to have regained a heavyweight championship after having lost it. After being stripped of the WBC title, Tyson lost his WBA crown to Evander Holyfield in November 1996 by an eleventh-round TKO. Their 1997 rematch ended when Tyson was disqualified for biting part of Holyfield's ear off.

Mike Tyson (baseball)
Michael Ray Tyson (January 13, 1950), is a former Major League Baseball second baseman and shortstop. He played in the majors from 1972 to 1981 for the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs.
Tyson was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 3rd round of the 1970 Major League Baseball Draft and made his MLB debut with St. Louis on September 5, 1972. He was a regular in the Cardinals' lineup until the end of the 1979 season when he was traded to the Cubs for relief pitcher Donnie Moore.
An underrated defensive shortstop, Tyson finished in the top ten in the National League in WAR (wins above replacement) in 1974 and 1977. His best offensive season came in the injury-shortened 1976 campaign, when he compiled career highs with a .286 batting average and a .445 slugging percentage while missing about half the season.
Tyson was released by the Cubs on March 15, 1982, at which point he retired from baseball. His lifetime batting average was .241.

Aynı zamanda en genç ağır siklet boks şampiyonu oldu. Rakibi olan Trevor Berbick'i 2. rauntta nakavt etmiştir. Mike Tyson 1988 yılında bir başka dev Larry Holmes'u da nakavt etmiştir. Çenesi oldukça sağlam, ve hiç nakavt olmamış olan Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson karşısında 4 raunt dayanabildi. Yine 1988 yılında bir başka çenesi sağlam ve hiç yenilmemiş, nakavt olmamış Michael Spinks'se karşı da galibiyet kazanmıştır. 1997'de Evander Holyfield ile yaptığı unvan maçının üçüncü raundunda rakibinin kulağını kopardığı gerekçesiyle diskalifiye edildi. İki yıl men cezası alan Tyson'ın Ohio eyaletinde ömür boyu boks yapması yasaklandı. Tyson, 1999 yılında tekrar ringlere döndü.
8 Haziran 2002'de Memphis'te, Lennox Lewis ile Mike Tyson arasında yapılan Dünya Ağır Siklet Boks Şampiyonası karşılaşmasında kazanan taraf Lennox Lewis oldu. Lennox Lewis, karşılaşmada pek varlık gösteremeyen Tyson'ı sekizinci rauntta yenerek Dünya Ağır Siklet Boks Şampiyonu unvanını korudu.
31 Temmuz 2004'te Tyson bir "geri dönüş" maçına, Louisville, Kentucky'de İngiliz Danny Williams ile karşılaşmaya gitti. Tyson ilk iki raundu kazandı. Üçüncü raundun başlarında Williams, hileli hareketler yapmaya başladı ve ceza puanları yedi. Dördüncü rauntta sürpriz bir şekilde Williams, Tyson'ı nakavt etti. Michael Gerard "Mike" Tyson (/ˈtaɪsən/; born June 30, 1966) is an American former professional boxer. He held the undisputed world heavyweight championship and holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles at 20 years, 4 months, and 22 days old. Tyson won his first 19 professional bouts by knockout, 12 of them in the first round. He won the WBC title in 1986 after defeating Trevor Berbick by a TKO in the second round. In 1987, Tyson added the WBA and IBF titles after defeating James Smith and Tony Tucker. This made him the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles, and the only heavyweight to successively unify them.
In 1988, Tyson became the lineal champion when he knocked out Michael Spinks in 91 seconds. Tyson successfully defended the world heavyweight championship nine times, including victories over Larry Holmes and Frank Bruno. In 1990, he lost his titles to underdog James "Buster" Douglas, by knockout in round 10. Attempting to regain the titles, he defeated Donovan Ruddock twice in 1991, but pulled out of a fight with undisputed heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield due to injury. In 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping Desiree Washington and sentenced to six years in prison but was released after serving three years. After his release, he engaged in a series of comeback fights. In 1996, he won the WBC and WBA titles after defeating Frank Bruno and Bruce Seldon by knockout. With his defeat of Bruno, Tyson joined Floyd Patterson, Muhammad Ali, Tim Witherspoon, Evander Holyfield, and George Foreman as the only men in boxing history to that point to have regained a heavyweight championship after having lost it. After being stripped of the WBC title, Tyson lost his WBA crown to Evander Holyfield in November 1996 by an eleventh-round TKO. Their 1997 rematch ended when Tyson was disqualified for biting part of Holyfield's ear off.
