Music Journalism is Dead
Remember when you highly anticipated the next issue of Rolling Stone in your mailbox? For better or worse, those days are over and anyone with an internet connection can be a music critic. Is the new Vampire Weekend record good? ASK ANYONE... literally, anyone is the music journalist of the future. Just like every other creative field, the unlocking of technology has opened the field up to anyone. What does that mean for music journalism and music listeners alike? Check out this video to see my thoughts on the matter.

2 Years as a Music Journalist
All full videos on my AN author page: https://www.alternativenation.net/author/laurynschaffner/
This is a compilation video I made to celebrate my two years of being a music journalist. What started as some written articles eventually turned into meeting some of my idols, and the whole experience has been amazing so far.
The video is made up of snippets of some assignments I've had at music events as well as interviews for alternative nation. The full videos are on Alternativenation.net or its YT: @altnationnet. I just wanted to give everyone a little preview of everything I've done in case you haven't seen them yet!
Thank you as always for your support and I can't wait to keep having adventures to update you all about. :)
