Top 10 Most Developed Countries In The World.
Hello Displorers, Welcome back to another informative video and thanks for watching. In this video we will be bringing you the top 10 most developed countries in the world. A developed country is defined as a sovereign state that has a developed economy and technologically advanced infrastructure when compared to other nations. There are several factors that determine whether or not a country is developed, such as the Human Development Index, political stability, gross domestic product (GDP), industrialization and freedom. The Human Development Index was developed by the United Nations to measure human development in a country. The UN HDI is a statistical measure that gauges a country's level of human development taking into account how income is turned into education and health opportunities and therefore into higher levels of human development. HDI is quantified by looking at a country’s human development such as education, health and life expectancy. HDI is set on a scale from 0 to 1 and most developed countries have a score above 0.8

Developed countries have generally more advanced post-industrial economies, meaning the service sector provides more wealth than the industrial sector contrasted with developing countries, which are in the process of industrialisation or are pre-industrial and almost entirely agrarian. So, without any waste of time, these are the top 10 most developed countries in the world.
10. Netherlands - HDI OF 0.933
The Netherlands is a country in North-western Europe with some overseas territories in the Caribbean. The official language is Dutch and a secondary official language in the province of Friesland is West Frisian. The four largest cities in the Netherlands are Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. Amsterdam is the country's most populous city and nominal capital. Most of the areas below sea level, known as polders, are the result of land reclamation that began in the 16th century. With a population of 17.4 million people, all living within a total area of roughly 41,800km2, it is the world's second-largest exporter of food and agricultural products after the United States, owing to its fertile soil, mild climate, intensive agriculture and inventiveness. Netherlands has an annual GDP of $914 billion and per capital income of $53.016 with a human development index of 0.931.
9. Singapore - HDI of 0.935
Singapore officially the Republic of Singapore, is a sovereign city-state and island country located in maritime Southeast Asia. Singapore has a highly-developed and successful free-market economy and has made the most of its limited natural and human resources. It has enjoyed a remarkably open and corruption-free environment, stable prices, and a per capita GDP higher than that of most developed countries. Its economy depends heavily on exports, particularly in consumer electronics, information technology products, pharmaceuticals, and on a growing financial services sector. Singapore has an annual GDP of $372.807 billion and per capital income of $65,627which makes it the 7th richest nation in the world with a human development index of 0.935 which is very high making it the 9thmost developed nation on earth.
8. Sweden - HDI of 0.937
Sweden is a Scandinavian country in Northern Europe which borders Norway to the west and north and Finland to the east, and is connected to Denmark in the southwest by a bridge-tunnel across the Oresund Strait. At 450,295km2 and population of 10.3 million of which 2.5 million have a foreign background, Sweden is considered to be one of the most highly developed post-industrial societies in the world. Sweden has a gross domestic product of $528.929 billion and GDP per capita of $51,242. It is ranked number 12th in the world in terms of GDP per capita. Sweden is known for having a high quality of life, with low unemployment and poverty rates with free access to health care. As a society, Sweden places great importance on environmental sustainability as well. Sweden also ranks highly on the HDI, with a value of 0.937which places Sweden at number 8th position.
7. Australia - HDI of 0.938
Australia is a sovereign country comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and numerous smaller islands.
