Can we actually design a system so creative that we can demand the same results from those with disabilities as those without disabilities? What could that system possibly look like and could it actually create value for a company?
A disability employment advocate, Randy Lewis joined Walgreens in 1992 as a divisional vice president in logistics and planning. Living within the world where technology and creativity combine, Randy designed and opened the the first distribution facility of its kind to employ a significant number of people with disabilities (more than 40% of the workforce has a cognitive or physical disability.) Drawing inspiration from his autistic son, Randy has become a speaker and author on the topics of incorporating those with disabilities into the workforce, receiving numerous awards for his volunteer work and advocacy.

Dr. Lewis received his bachelor's degree from CalTech and his master's and Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology before he joined the faculty at the University of Wyoming in 1980 as professor of molecular biology. Randy Lewis (racing driver)
John Ranson Lewis III (born July 18, 1945 in Charlotte, North Carolina), better known as Randy Lewis is a five-time starter of the Indianapolis 500 USA automobile race. His best starting position was 11th in 1988 and 1989. His best finish was 14th in 1990 and 1991. His last race at Indy was the 1991 Indianapolis 500. In his 81 CART starts his best finish was an 8th in 1987. He started his career in Formula Three in Europe and gradually moved up to the Formula 5000, then the Can-Am series.

Randy Lewis (athlete)
Randy Lewis (born 15 November 1978) is a Grenadian athlete competing in the triple jump. He represented Grenada at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics, and has also competed at World Championship level indoors and outdoors. He won the bronze medal at the 2008 IAAF World Athletics Final. His personal best jump is 17.49 metres, achieved in May 2008 in São Paulo. This is the current Grenadian record.
Lewis attended Wichita State University where he is in the Hall of Fame for Track and Field. He won four individual titles in the Missouri Valley Conference and he is a three-time NCAA All-American. He also currently owns the triple jump records (indoor and outdoor) at Wichita State University.
He is coached by Gerd Osenberg, the former coach of Ulrike Meyfarth.

Lewis (lifting appliance)
A lewis (sometimes called a lewisson) is one of a category of lifting devices used by stonemasons to lift large stones into place with a crane, chain block, or winch. It is inserted into a specially prepared hole, or seating, in the top of a stone, directly above its centre of mass. It works by applying principles of the lever and utilises the weight of the stone to act on the long lever-arms which in turn results in a very high reaction force and friction where the short lever-arms make contact with the stone inside the hole and thereby prevents slipping.
Etymology
The name lewis may come from the Latin levo -avi, -atum meaning to levitate or lift, but the Oxford English Dictionary Online states, "the formation and the phonology are not easily explained on this hypothesis", preferring "origin obscure", and speculating that the term may derive from a personal name. The Romans used the lewis. The specially shaped hole that is shaped to fit the device is known as a lewis hole. Lewis holes in the uppermost masonry coursings are neatly repaired with matching indented plugs after the stone has been set in place.

Lewis is a crater on the far side of the Moon. It lies along the western edge of the Montes Cordillera mountains that surround the Mare Orientale impact basin. This crater has been heavily disrupted by the formation of the basin, and it is covered by ejecta from the impact leaving only an uneven depression in the surface. The outer rim is roughly circular, and the interior is uneven.

Dr. Lewis received his bachelor's degree from CalTech and his master's and Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology before he joined the faculty at the University of Wyoming in 1980 as professor of molecular biology. He also served as department chair for five years and as a special assistant to the vice president for research before coming to Utah State in 2011. Currently, Lewis is a USTAR professor of biology in the Synthetic Biomanufacturing Center.

In a world where those with mental and physical disabilities are seen as “disabled,” what would it take to not only have those individuals contribute, but to also give them the same expectations, goals, and work at the same wage as those without disabilities? Can we actually design a system so creative that we can demand the same results from those with disabilities as those without disabilities? What could that system possibly look like and could it actually create value for a company?
A disability employment advocate, Randy Lewis joined Walgreens in 1992 as a divisional vice president in logistics and planning. Living within the world where technology and creativity combine, Randy designed and opened the the first distribution facility of its kind to employ a significant number of people with disabilities (more than 40% of the workforce has a cognitive or physical disability.) Drawing inspiration from his autistic son, Randy has become a speaker and author on the topics of incorporating those with disabilities into the workforce, receiving numerous awards for his volunteer work and advocacy.
