The Office of the Inspector General is investigating a police officer’s use of deadly force in an Oct. 26 incident in which the officer reportedly returned fire after being shot at several times in Norwich. The Norwich officer, later identified as Scott Dupointe, was shot at shortly before 10 p.m.
